Redshift Records is an independent record label for contemporary classical, experimental and avant-garde music, based in North Vancouver, Canada. We released our first CD in 2007 and have now released over 160 albums by composers, performers and ensembles, earning more than 40 nominations and numerous wins at the JUNO Awards, the Western Canadian Music Awards and the East Coast Music Awards.

The label was founded on a simple idea: the people who make the music should keep the money it earns. Every Redshift artist receives 100% of their sales and streaming income. The label charges a single flat fee per release and nothing else.
Redshift releases are distributed worldwide through Symphonic Distribution and are available on Apple Music, Apple Music Classical, Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Tidal, Deezer and Bandcamp. Physical albums are sold through our Bandcamp store.
