Immersion by Jordan Nobles received the award for Classical Composition of the Year at the 2017 Western Canadian Music Awards and also won the 2017 JUNO Award for Classical Composition of the Year.

 

 

 

Standing Wave’s CD New Wave has WON Classical Ensemble of the Year at the 2017 Western Canadian Music Awards! Also, two pieces on their CD received nominations for Classical Composition of the Year (for Marcus Goddard‘s Raven Tales and Edward Top’s Pots ‘n Pans Falling)

 

 

 

Ana Sokolović’s piece ...and I need a room to receive five thousand people…, was nominated for Classical Composition of the Year at the 2017 JUNO Awards.
Musica Intima and the Turning Point ensemble were nominated for Classical Ensemble of the Year by the 2016 Western Canadian Music Awards.

 

  


Arkora’s
debut CD was nominated for Classical Composition of the Year for Benton Roark’s Songs from the Rainshadow’s Edge by the 2016 Western Canadian Music Awards!
